PRINTED ON BACK: “The ‘Mormon’ Church, whose official designation is the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints, was organized in Fayette, Seneca County, New York, April 6, 1830, with six members. The week of April 6, 1930, was celebrated as Centennial week wherever a unit of the Church was then located. The illumination of all ‘Mormon’ Temples was part of the ceremonies. The Church now has approximately 1,000,000 members.”

Mailed July 14, 1952. Linen. Pretty good condition, but the corners show some wear and there’s a bit of discoloration.

HANDWRITTEN: “I was so sorry Utah Hotel was filled. We came in this morning so we are at The Newhouse.
Heard the organ recital at 12 o’clock ate our lunch at the Utah Hotel but I think we will be leaving.
Be seeing you in the morning.”
