Mailed August 11, 1931. Pretty good condition, but the corners and edges show a little wear. The postmark imprint shows on the front a little and the back has a little bit of staining.

HANDWRITTEN: “Dad dear – got up in good time – road very clear. I didn’t even have to use the paper – let alone map. I remembered it all. Having time to spare I came to Centre Harbor to eat luncheon. There was a statue in the square – a sort of Indian Leda and the Swan. Thought I’d die.”
